Winter Family Picnic on Sunday, 08-JAN-2012 at Satara

Here is the good news for all Hindu-Bhandari friends. Aamhi Bhandari Group (ABG) has organized ONE-DAY return, Winter FAMILY Picnic on Sunday, 08-Jan-2012 at Satara, Maharashtra, India.

SIGHT SEEINGS:

1. Sajjangad (सज्जनगड)

Sajjangad is the well known Spiritual place of Sant Ramdas Swami - Spiritual guru of Shivaji Maharaj. Ramdas Swami lived here for whole of his life and passed away here only.

2. ChaphaL (चाफळ)

Chaphal is a small village in Satara district but very famous for 'Shri Ram Temple' - one of the beautiful temple in Maharashtra. The idol of Lord Ram is special one. It is originally the idol of 'Lord Surya' , but Ramdas Swami worshiped the idol as 'Lord Ram'. And that is why, Lord Ram here is without bow. It has lotus in both hands. Chaphal is historically important place as well. Shivaji Maharaj and Samarth Ramdas Swami used to meet here. The mantra of Swaraj was given by Ramdas Swami to Shivaji Maharaj here. The temple is built in marble and is good example of architecture.

3. Ajinkya-Tara Fort (अजिंक्य-तारा किल्ला)

The Ajinkyatara fort is the very famous landmark in Satara. The fort is in the heart of the city and thus can be seen from every part of the city. One can have a wonderful view of the city from here.

PICKUP POINTS:

1. Balgandharva Rangmandir, J. M. Road, Shivajinagar, Pune (8.00 AM)

2. On the way pick-up points:

a) Swargate Corner, Jedhe Chowk (8.15 AM)

b) Padmavati Corner, Satara Road (8.30 AM)

c) Katraj PMT Bus Depot, Satara Road (8.45 AM)

Notes:

i. If there are more people form Pimpri-Chinchwad area then we will make pick-up arrangement for them from Pimpri Chowk. (7.30AM)

ii. SAFE Parking is available for your 2/4 wheelers at Balgandharva Rangmandir.

PER HEAD CONTRIBUTION:

1. Per-head contribution is Rs. 400 only. And have to pay in advance. Else your seat will not be confirmed.

2. It includes Tourist Bus Transportation Cost, Morning Breakfast + Tea, Snacks in Bus, Lunch and Evening Snacks/Refreshment.

3. FREE for children below age group 14.

1. Pay by CASH to our member staying nearest to your home or office location.  Our representative will guide you regarding this.  OR

Two years of Social Service...

Hi Friends !

Today ABG completed 2 Years in the era of social activities and bonding of a family. The journey so far is towards the upward direction as we have many family members now. As we started with 9 members in 2009 at Balgandharva Cafeteria, Pune. Still we are finding the various ways to dedicate ourselves for our Bhandari Community and we are sure that you will also play a key role as a path finder, guide and will comeup with new ideas / opinion as what we can do more and how we can do it !

In the journey of two years, you all have seen us in activities / events like Blood Donation camp, Dasara Melava, Hi-Tech Vadhu-Var Parichay Melava, Tree Plantation Drive, Mansoon Picnic. In coming year, we are planning many more activities/events.

We are eager to see all of you in various events participation and enjoying with us while doing social activities. Let's become a face of every bhandari! There are many things, we all have to do now onwards for our Bhandari Families.

विविध सामाजिक उपक्रमांचे आयोजन करणार्‍या ’आम्ही भंडारी ग्रुप’तर्फे रविवार, दिनांक ३१-जुलै-२०११ रोजी पुण्यातील चतुश्रृंगी टेकडीवर वृक्षारोपण करण्यात आले. गेली अनेक वर्षे चतुश्रृंगी टेकडीवर वृक्षारोपण आणि वृक्षसंवर्धनाचं कार्य करणार्‍या  ’ग्रीन हिल्स ग्रुप’ ह्या संस्थेतर्फे श्री. संजय सुर्यवंशी ह्यांनी ’आम्ही भंडारी ग्रुप’ला वृक्षारोपणाबाबत मार्गदर्शन केले. वृक्षारोपणात औदुंबर, आपटा, करंजे, कांचन, मोहगणी, पुत्रवंती, चिंच, विलायती चिंच, जांभुळ आणि शिसम इत्यादी वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारची झाडे लावण्यात आली.

रिमझिम पावसाची बरसात,
टिकाव, फावडे, पहार, घमेले आणि खुरपे हातात.
पुर्ण केला 'संकल्प वृक्षारोपणाचा',
’आम्ही भंडारी’ने दणक्यात....!

ह्या वर्षी पहिल्यांदाच पुण्यात ’आम्ही भंडारी’ग्रुप तर्फे वृक्षारोपण करण्यात आले होते. वृक्षारोपणात ’आम्ही भंडारी ग्रुप’चे २२ सभासद सहभागी झाले होते. ’आम्ही भंडारी ग्रुप’तर्फे यापुढे दरवर्षी पावसाळ्यात वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी वृक्षारोपण केले जाणार आहे.

ABG's Monsoon Picnic on Sunday, 17-July-2011 at Tamhini Ghat, Near Pune.

Here is the good news for all Hindu-Bhandari friends! ABG has organized ONE-DAY return Monsoon Picnic on Sunday, 17th July at Tamhini Ghat, near Pune. We will start the journey around 8.00 AM from Pune and we will be back in Pune around at 5.00 PM.


ADDITIONAL SIGHTSEEING: [ Added on 11-July-2011]
We have decided to change our route while coming back to Pune. So that we can see more spots like Lavasa City and Temghar Dam.
It's a bonanza with same amount of fees.


PER HEAD CONTRIBUTION: [ Updated on 11-July-2011]
1. It includes Tourist Bus Transportation Cost, Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch and Evening Snacks/Refreshment.
2. The major portion of contribution is the Transportation Cost. We are working on it to make it as less as possible. We will make sure that Picnic will be affordable to everyone's pocket.
3. The per-head contribution will be Rs. 300 to Rs. 350 only.

1. Everybody have to gather at Balgandharva Rangmandir, JM Road, Shivajinagar on or before 8.00 AM.
2. Balgandharva Rangmandir is centralized location in Pune and it is on 5-7 min walking distance from PMC Bhavan or 12-15 min walking distance from Shivajinagar Station.
3. SAFE and FREE Parking is available for 2/4 wheelers at Balgandharva Rangmandir.
4. If the number of participates are more form Pimpri-Chinchwad area then we will make the pick-up arrangement for them.


NOTE FOR MUMBAIKARS:

1. If you want to join us then you have to come on or before 8.00 AM at starting point.

2. If the more number of people are coming by Endrayani Express train then we will wait for you till 8.50 AM (Indrayani Express Train starts from CST, Mumbai at 5.40 AM and reaches Shivajinagar, Pune at 8.50 AM.)
